Winter Warm-Up Receipt Contest – Official Rules

Contest Period

The Winter Warm-Up Ultimate Winter Warm-Up Prize Basket Contest runs from February 1 to February 28, 2026. All entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM on February 28, 2026 to be eligible.

​

How to Enter

  • Make a purchase at any participating Downtown Kentville business during the contest period.

  • Submit your receipt using the official entry form by scanning the QR code or visiting the contest webpage.

  • Each receipt counts as one (1) entry. Multiple receipts may be submitted as separate entries.

​

No purchase limit — the more you shop local, the more chances you have to win.

​

Eligibility

  • Open to residents of Nova Scotia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

  • Purchases must be made at participating Downtown Kentville businesses.

  • Employees, board members, and immediate family members of the Downtown Kentville Business Community are not eligible to win.

Prize & Draw

  • One (1) winner will receive the Winter Warm-Up Prize Basket.

  • The winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries.

  • The draw will take place live on March 1, 2026.

  • The winner will be contacted using the email address (or phone number, if provided) submitted with their entry.

​

If the selected winner cannot be reached within a reasonable timeframe, another entry may be drawn.

​

Receipt Requirements

  • Submitted receipts must clearly show:

    • the business name

    • the purchase date (February 1–28, 2026)

  • Illegible, altered, or duplicate receipts may be deemed invalid.

Privacy & Use of Information

Your privacy matters to us.

  • Personal information collected for this contest is used only for the purposes of administering the Winter Warm-Up contest and contacting the winner.

  • We do not sell, share, or store this information for marketing purposes.

  • All contest entries and uploaded receipts will be securely deleted once the contest has ended and the winner has been confirmed.

By entering, you consent to the collection and temporary use of your information solely for contest administration.

General Conditions

  • The Downtown Kentville Business Community reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify entries that do not comply with these rules.

  • This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any social media platform.

  • By entering, participants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the contest organizers, which are final.
